Here at Anstey, we pride ourselves in being at the forefront of wallpaper innovation and both the Anstey Design and the Technical teams are constantly looking for new ideas and techniques for our wallpapers. Every year we research the latest trends and colours at the London and Paris shows in order to develop cutting edge new products to present to our client base.We have a specialist Technical Development Department which explores and combines novel inks, substrates, techniques and technology in order to constantly develop new and innovative products from our wide range of processes. Excellent partnerships with our supplier base guarantees we are always up to date with the latest raw materials and are also working with them to create new ones.All developments are machine trialled before the products are extensively tested for durability and performance against Industry standards and we use experienced independent external decorators to assess developmental products on trial. This gives us broad unbiased feedback to ensure our wallcoverings are fully developed for use and purpose before they reach the end consumer.The design and technical development teams are both happy to keep our customers up to date with their latest projects, or if a customer has something particular in mind we are more than happy to work with them, directing our resources to create a wallcovering with a particular look or feel, or one aimed at a specific market. We understand the benefits of synergy between design, technology, production and quality and, as we have all of them at our disposal here, we are able to pass these rewards on to our customers.As an example of our commitment to continuous innovation, one of the recent additions to our factory is a high tech scattering machine, which enables tiny beads and particles to be adhered to a wall-covering. Using the very latest technology, this can be a full scatter ‘design’, or just used to ‘highlight’ an image in register from other print processes. As a result, texture, colour and light reflection can be added as an accent or can be simply used to create a beautiful design with stunning results and excellent durability and adhesion.
