Introduction:

Toscotec is set to deliver a new PM7 tissue line to the Grigeo Group’s plant in Grigiškės (Vilnius, Lithuania), continuing a partnership of more than 15 years. This follows the earlier installation of PM6 in 2013, along with other projects involving Yankee Dryers and Hood replacements.

Features:

The new tissue line will have a daily production capacity of up to 250 tonnes, reflecting Grigeo Group’s commitment to doubling paper output while optimising energy use.

The AHEAD 2.2L tissue machine will feature a paper web width of 5,500 mm and a design speed of up to 2,200 metres per minute, supporting high-performance and sustainable tissue production.

Key design elements include a TT Headbox with a dilution control system to ensure consistent sheet formation, a TT Next Press to improve the drying process, and an 18-foot Steel Yankee Dryer (TT SYD) for efficiency and reliable output.

The line will also incorporate Toscotec’s Energy Pack solutions, including the TT Turbo Dryer, TT Hood-Duo with TT Swing, and TT Drying Equilibrium, which enhance drying efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and provide the option for future electric heating.

The supply package encompasses the complete Stock Preparation Plant, Water Cycle, broke line from converting, full electrical system, and the TT Brain DCS control system designed by Toscotec.
