As part of implementation of the projects aimed to improve manufacturing performance and reduce environmental impact, Ilim Group has completed the first stage of its large-scale rebuild of recovery boiler No.1 at the Ust-Ilimsk Mill. The investments at this stage exceeded USD 11 million. During the first stage, which lasted for 65 days, the Mill performed all necessary commissioning work, adjusted the required process parameters, and ensured the ramp-up of the boiler. During the second stage, which is planned to begin in spring 2014, the Mill will replace two precipitators worth about USD 5 million each. Therefore, the total investments of Ilim Group in the entire RB1 Rebuild Project will exceed USD 21 million
