Introduction:

ANDRITZ has secured an order from Turkish yarn producer Goliplik Seremet Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. to supply a complete Wetlace™ line for manufacturing nonwovens used in sustainable, flushable wipes.

Features:

With this new production line, Goliplik will enter the nonwovens market, producing premium roll goods for flushable wipes. These wipes are made from natural, biodegradable fibres, offering strong tensile strength and quick disintegration in sewage systems.

The cutting-edge neXline Wetlace line includes advanced components such as stock preparation, an approach flow system, wetlaid forming, hydroentanglement, and drying. The line is expected to be operational in the first half of 2027.
