While primarily composed of paper, the sachets provide excellent barrier properties against oxygen and water vapor—requirements essential for liquid food packaging—realizing a new sustainable yet highly functional packaging solution. By introducing this paper-based packaging, the amount of plastic used per sachet has been reduced by 44%, and CO₂ emissions have been reduced by 25% compared to Taisei Lamick Group’s conventional plastic packaging.
