Valmet is set to provide Yueyang Forest Paper in China with a high-capacity fine paper production line, complete with automation systems, spare parts, and consumables packages. The anticipated delivery is slated for the third quarter of 2024.

This order was formally recorded in Valmet's second-quarter 2023 orders received, although the precise value of the order remains undisclosed.

Valmet boasts a remarkable 90-year presence in China, during which it has observed and actively contributed to the rapid and robust growth of China's pulp and paper industry. The company maintains a strong rapport with Yueyang Forest Paper, having collaborated on previous projects such as the Juntai pulp mill's line 1 endeavor and the PM 8 project. These collaborations have not only yielded high-quality projects but have also fostered a deeper partnership between Valmet and Yueyang Forest Paper. As such, Valmet is both honored and confident to embark on the new PM 11 project in tandem with their esteemed partner.
