Valmet to deliver a complete atmospheric diffuser rebuild to Billerud’s Skärblacka mill in Sweden

Valmet, a prominent provider of industrial solutions, is set to execute a comprehensive atmospheric diffuser rebuild for Billerud's Skärblacka mill in Sweden. The delivery is slated for May 2024.

This project has been included in Valmet's order intake for the second quarter of 2023. The specific financial details of the order remain undisclosed.

The original washer at Skärblacka mill was initially supplied by Valmet in 1973. The upcoming rebuild aims to ensure the washer's sustained performance and availability for the years ahead, while also positioning the mill for potential capacity expansions.
