Smurfit Kappa has today announced the opening of its latest Experience Centre in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad Region in Russia, further expanding its network of expertise.

The Smurfit Kappa Experience Centres provide a place for customers to get hands-on experience of how packaging impacts every step of the supply chain. With state-of-the-art exhibitions, store visualisers and inspiration rooms, the Experience Centres have played an integral part in nurturing talent and innovation at the company.

The opening was attended by Pim Wareman, CEO Corrugated North East Europe, Arco Berkenbosch, Vice President Innovation and Development, Patrik Strom, Managing Director Smurfit Kappa Russia, Olga Rudova, Sales and Marketing Director Smurfit Kappa Russia and customer representatives.

Arco Berkenbosch, Vice President Innovation and Development, said: “Experience Centres all over the world allow us to demonstrate our best practices and share our global experience. We are very glad that such centre is opened in Russia now. We believe it to be an incredible advantage to see various packaging production stages, solve challenges in a real time manner and to be inspired by what others have done before you”.
