Market conditions that supported price increases for sack kraft paper in the fourth quarter continue to prevail on the German market at the beginning of 2018. Paper supply is still tight with manufacturers rationing supply and occasionally also pushing back delivery dates.

Therefore paper manufacturers have announced new price hikes to take effect from 1 January.
