International Paper Opens Its Newest Corrugated Packaging Facility in Atglen, Pennsylvania

International Paper marked a significant milestone today with the grand opening of its cutting-edge corrugated packaging facility in Atglen, PA. This state-of-the-art establishment, representing a $100 million investment, has already generated over 100 manufacturing jobs, benefitting not only Atglen but also the neighboring communities. The facility is dedicated to the production of corrugated packaging tailored to meet the needs of a diverse clientele spanning produce, processed food, beverage, shipping, distribution, and e-commerce.

Tom Hamic, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at International Paper, emphasized the importance of the company's corrugated packaging business and the strategic value of this investment. "Our corrugated packaging business is an important part of International Paper. This strategic investment will add local jobs and help us better serve our customers," stated Hamic.
