The event was attended by top managers of the company and managers of 23 leading paper industry enterprises in Henan province with a total production capacity of 3 million 334 thousand tons per year and pulp consumption of 1 million 257 thousand tons per year.

Ilim Group announced that it plans to increase the market presence and share of its products to Henan. In connection with the active growth of own paper production in the province, the demand for raw materials is growing, primarily - bleached hardwood pulp and packaging materials. Henan Xinyu Pulp & Paper International will be the distributor of the Ilim Group products in Henan.

Over 500 plants in 20 regions of the country are consumers of Ilim Group products. The company plans to increase the total output by more than 500 thousand tons per year in the next 5 years, with a significant part of additional volumes of coniferous, hardwood pulp and cardboard to be supplied to the Chinese market."
