Germany's Aviretta has started fluting production with a basis weight of 70-100 g/m² on its converted 180,000 tonne/yr containerboard machine in Germany, an Aviretta representative said. He declined to comment on the PM's current production level.

In April, the firm began production of schrenz liner with a basis weight of 70-100 g/m². Production is FSC-certified and is mainly sold in Europe.
