Ahlstrom has engaged in an agreement to divest its Stenay facility in France to Accursia Capital, in accordance with the binding offer presented by Accursia Capital in July. The finalization of this divestiture follows the endorsement received from the plant's workforce representatives. The transaction is set to conclude by the close of September.

Accursia Capital has a strategic objective to foster the growth of the Stenay facility, with the aim of ensuring its sustained viability and, by extension, safeguarding the employment opportunities of its staff.

Mark Ushpol, Executive Vice President of the Food and Consumer Packaging division, affirms, "We are pleased to share this positive development for the future of our Stenay plant, its dedicated staff, and the Stenay community. This achievement has been made possible through the dedication of our on-site team and the cooperation of all stakeholders. A new chapter in the plant's history is about to unfold in partnership with Accursia Capital."

Martin Scheiblegger, Managing Director of Accursia Capital, articulates, "This acquisition is a pivotal step in our long-term investment strategy, with the goal of positioning Stenay as a prominent participant in the fiercely competitive landscape of paper-based packaging. We are eagerly anticipating the collaborative advancement of the Stenay site's business in conjunction with its workforce."

The divestment marks a turning point in the trajectory of the Stenay plant, setting the stage for future growth and success under Accursia Capital's guidance.
