Voith's BluePulp LC Pulping System for Recycled Paper

Voith, a leading full-line supplier to the paper industry, introduces its enhanced BluePulp LC system for recycled paper processing, building on the success of its previous TwinPulp system. The new low-consistency (LC) pulping system has undergone significant upgrades focused on boosting efficiency and cutting costs. After optimizing components such as the IntensaPump, IntensaPulper IP-R, IntensaMaXX, and IntensaScreenDrum, the entire system has been redesigned to deliver superior performance. The BluePulp LC now sets the standard in OCC dissolution systems, fully compliant with the latest technological advancements.

Every element of the BluePulp LC system is engineered for increased efficiency and reliability. The IntensaPulper IP-R, with its eccentric design, reduces energy consumption by up to 25% compared to traditional LC pulpers. The improved IntensaPump ensures blockage-free transport of highly contaminated stock from the IntensaPulper IP-R to the IntensaMaXX disposal machine, yielding up to 30% energy savings and reduced wear. IntensaMaXX handles high contaminant loads, while its specialized housing design minimizes the formation of spinnings. The IntensaScreenDrum efficiently washes out rejects with its advanced spray pipe system, minimizing fiber loss.

The BluePulp LC system is designed for both new and existing stock preparation setups, and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. At Bulleh Shah Packaging, the installation of BluePulp LC has proven to be a game-changer.
