Changes in forest company SCA's management

As a final step in the division of SCA Group into two listed companies, the Board today, with the dismissal of Magnus Groth as President and CEO, appointed Ulf Larsson, President and CEO of SCA. Magnus Groth has been appointed as President and CEO of Essity Aktiebolag (publ) today admitted to trading on Nasdaq Stockholm.

The AGM 2017 resolved the distribution of the SCA Group's health and hygiene company, Essity Aktiebolag (publ) to the shareholders has now been completed. As previously announced, the forest company SCA of today, the new group.

Accordingly, the Board has today been terminated by Magnus Groth as President and CEO and appointed Ulf Larsson, President and CEO, and Fredrik Rystedt been terminated as a vice president in the forest company SCA. Magnus Groth and Fredrik Rystedt remain in their positions in Essity Aktiebolag (publ) as CEO and vice president and CFO.

Ulf Larsson trained foresters and employee of SCA since 1992. He has since 2008 been head of the Forest Products business area, which for the recently completed dividend amounts forest company SCA. He has since August 2016 been Executive Vice President of the company.

In accordance with the Extraordinary General Meeting's decision on 17 May 2017, the forestry company SCA's Board of Directors as of today consist of Pär Boman (Chairman), Charlotte Bengtsson, Lennart Evrell, Anne Gardshol, Ulf Larsson, Martin Lindqvist, Lotta Lyra, Barbara Milian Thoralfsson and Bert Nordberg. The workers have as their members of the Board appointed Roger Boström, Hans Wentjärv and Johanna Lindén Viklund by deputy Stefan Lundkvist, Per Andersson and Maria Jonsson.
