Trimble announced that Tieto Corporation, the largest IT services company in the Nordics, will distribute Trimble's LogForce™ forestry transportation planning software and WoodForce™ planning control system software for harvesting operations in the Nordic forestry regions.

Tieto is investing in forest and paper industry-specific solutions and is now offering its technology, solutions, partner-developed industry applications and cloud services to the wood and fiber supply ecosystem.

Trimble's LogForce is a mobile Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that provides logging and transportation contractors and forest companies with the ability to efficiently plan and manage transport within the supply chain.

WoodForce is a SaaS solution that enables planning and operations control for harvesting and forestry services. The software is a key component of Trimble's Connected Forest solutions, which manage the full raw materials lifecycle of planning, planting, growing, harvesting and transport.
