Ridgeons Newmarket to build a new timber storage facility in Suffolk, the UK

13 March 2018

Ridgeons’ branch in Newmarket, Suffolk, the UK, will build a new timber storage facility costing GBP 100,000 ($139,000). The major investment will make Ridgeons Newmarket the only timber and builders’ merchants in and around Newmarket to offer a display house containing treated carcassing.

Construction of the storage facility for the local timber merchant will begin in April and open in the summer. With this addition to the branch, Ridgeons Newmarket will be able to stock a wider range of carcassing, and the undercover protection will reduce weathering, ensuring a high quality product.

Karli Millard, Branch Manager, said: “We are making this investment as a result of feedback from our customers. As an independent, customer-focused timber and builders’ merchant, we respond to the changing requirements in the local market. We look forward to introducing both existing and new customers to the new timber facility in a few months’ time.”
