Some suppliers of recycled corrugated case material announced price increases in the UK in July.

Scanter supply of brown recycled corrugated case materials, especially for lightweight grades, was the hot topic on the UK market in June. All ingredients have now come together for prices to increase amidst much higher recovered paper costs too, at least a few manufacturers think.

As this issue went to press, two suppliers had announced plans to charge more from 1 or 13 July onwards.
