Velvet to raise tissue paper output Poland’s leading tissue paper producer Velvet Care has unveiled plans to launch three new production lines at its factory in Klucze, in Poland’s southern region.

 Over the next two to three years, the manufacturer says it is aiming to invest a further PLN 200 million ($54 million) in expanding its output capacity, Velvet Care said in a statement.

These investment are a breakthrough for Velvet Care, as they will allow to offer innovative products to our consumers,” said Marek Sciazko, the vice president of Velvet Care. „They will enable us to expand the portfolio of Velvet by entirely new product categories.”

The company has a dominant position in the country’s. As much as 35% of polled Polish consumers say Velvet Care products were their first choice, according to data released by market research firm Zymetria.
