Papeterie de Clairefontaine has selected PMT Italia as the supplier of a press section rebuild of their PM#5, located at Etival - Clairefontaine, France, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The 3.8 m wide machine produces high quality fine papers.

The project is expected to improve production capacity and heavy grammages production as well, by installing a new smarnip® shoe press that will give more flexibility to the machine in producing low as high basis weights.

With the start up of this project, planned for the spring of 2016, PMT will have two smarnip® shoe presses in the PM#5 and one smarnip® shoe press in the PM#6.

PMT is a global paper machinery producer, able to provide producers of different paper grades with advanced equipment from headbox through winder, including integrated projects with basis or detail engineering of associated auxiliary plants.
