Lightweight coated (LWC) paper producer Papierfabrik Walsum has stopped production, according to multiple market contacts in Germany.

A source at the mill confirmed that the 205,000 tonne/yr PM 10 has been down since the weekend, but declined to say why or when a restart is planned.
