Interfor has completed the acquisition of a sawmill in Monticello, Arkansas from The Price Companies, Inc., thereby increasing its annual lumber production capacity to 3.2 billion board feet, of which over 40% is in the US South, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

"We are pleased to extend our US South footprint in Arkansas and welcome our new employees to Interfor," President and CEO Duncan Davies said.

Interfor is a growth-oriented lumber company with operations in Canada and the United States. The Company has annual production capacity of 3.2 billion board feet and offers one of the most diverse lines of lumber products.
