Iggesund Paperboard yesterday stopped production at its 200,000 tonne/yr Workington folding boxboard (FBB) mill in the UK to install a new press section on its BM 2.

The installation of the new press section is expected to take a month and will result in a 10% or 20,000 tonne/yr capacity increase and improved board quality.
