The new machine will double production capacity of tissue at the Spanish site.

ICT Ibérica commissioned the new PM 22 at its El Burgo de Ebro site on September 12. The machine supplied by Valmet has a capacity of 70,000 tonnes per year of fresh fibre-based tissue, according to the Spanish subsidiary of Italian industry Cartarie Tronchetti (ICT).

ICT Ibérica was founded in 1999 as a trading company and started producing tissue products in El Burgo de Ebro, Zaragoza, in 2005. With the commissioning of PM 22, production capacity at the plant was doubled to 140,000 tpy.
