4 September 2015

Company says takeover by Hansol Paper will cause no big changes in the paper supplier pool of the R+S Group.

In mid-August, Hansol Paper announced it had entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire the entire share capital of R+S Group, formerly Reker und Schlingmann Papierrollenfabrik GmbH. Now, Hansol Paper confirmed that the transaction was completed as planned, on 31 August. According to Hansol, thermal paper converter R+S Group will continue to operate as a separate company after the closing of the transaction.

Hansol Paper is South Korea's largest paper manufacturing company and one of the leading manufacturers of thermal paper worldwide. Nevertheless, the paper supplier pool of R+S Group is said to remain largely unchanged. There will be no big changes; the group intended to keep the paper supply sources in optimal balance, Jun Park, CEO of Hansol Europe BV, Schades and R+S Group explained to EUWID.
