Fibria announces global $20/tonne BEK price hike, effective Jun. 1

The world's largest bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp producer, Brazilian Fibria, is informing its clients of a new $20/tonne price hike for all markets, effective Jun. 1. The company targets the price levels of $810/tonne in Europe, $700/tonne in Asia and $900/tonne in North America.

Fibria's last price increase was announced for April sales, when the company also setled a global $20/tonne price hike.
