Introduction:

Toscotec will provide a complete AHEAD 2.2L tissue line to Intertrade Hellas for its Oyinofita mill, located near Athens, Greece. The line is set to begin operations in 2026.

Features:

The new AHEAD 2.2L machine boasts a net sheet width of 5,600 mm, a maximum operating speed of 2,200 m/min, and a production capacity exceeding 80,000 tons per year. It includes a fully hydraulic TT Headbox-MLT, the advanced TT NextPress shoe press technology, a third-generation TT SYD integrated with a cogeneration system, and the TT BulkyReel for optimal bulk and softness preservation.

To enhance the energy efficiency of the entire production line, Toscotec has designed a customised Energy Package, which features the TT TurboDryer. This system utilises recovered heat from the air system to reduce water viscosity, improve the de-watering efficiency of the shoe press, and significantly boost post-press dryness.

The package also comprises an OPTIMA 2600 slitter rewinder, equipped with an automatic shaft puller and a dedicated dust removal system. Additionally, Intertrade Hellas has acquired a comprehensive service package that includes detailed engineering design, installation, training, commissioning, and start-up support.
