U.S. containerboard production in September 2016 was 2% higher compared to September 2015. The month-over-month average daily production compared to August 2016 was 1.4% lower, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The containerboard operating rate for September increased to 97.4%, while the year-to-date operating rate of 95% was 1 percentage point lower compared to year-to-date 2015.
