Prices for NBSK pulp believed to go up in June

24 June 2015

After the erosion in prices for northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp has come to a halt in May, producers believe they have a good chance of getting higher prices accepted this month.

"We have a robust market," a producer told EUWID, adding that demand was very good at the moment and stocks were decreasing.

Many market players believe that prices will go up at least slightly in June, but doubt that the full increase can be implemented in one go.
