Peab expands SCA's pulp mill in Ă–strand, Sweden

Peab has been commissioned to construct new buildings to be integrated into the existing plant at SCA's pulp mill in Östrand outside Sundsvall, Sweden. The client is the SCA and the order value is estimated at approximately SEK 380 million ($44.5 million), as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The assignment is that Peab will construct new buildings on vacant space within the existing mill site. The buildings will house wood room, fiber line, evaporation plant, chlorine dioxide plant and water treatment.

Work will commence during the 1Q 2016 and is scheduled for completion in the 2Q 2018.
