Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. announced that Hokkaido Mill-Shiraoi acquired ISO 9001 certification: 2015, an international standard for quality management systems, for the manufacture of base paper for food container by Shiraoi No.10 paper machine.

Shiraoi No.10 machine is used to produce base paper for food container. Nippon Paper Industries acquired certification for the international standard ISO 9001 on April 15 in order to meet the expectations of customers inside and outside Japan, including food manufacturers and consumers who purchase base paper and those who demand better food safety and security.
