This spring Ukraine's Kyiv CPM launched a large-scale project for modernization of machine coater. The first stage is modernization of unwinder at the Coater together with Bellmer, Germany, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Delivery of equipment is scheduled for December 2016 under the signed contract, unwinder with auto splicer TURBOCenterSplicer will be set into operation in February 2017.

New unwinder allow to increase the production of coated cardboard up to 5,000 tons per year by reducing the time for reels change from 20 min. to 5 min.

Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill is one of the largest European producers of cardboard and paper products. It is a part of the Austrian Pulp Mill Holding.
