Ilim Group's branches in the Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk Districts are currently preparing for the upcoming fire season, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Ilim Group's logging entities in the Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk Districts plan to build over 40 km and repair over 59 km of fire roads, create 610 km and perform maintenance of 770 km of firebreaks, install 150 fire hazard warning signs, and equip 45 designated smoking areas. The Company also plans to purchase 16 units of specialized machinery and firefighting gear.

To implement these efforts, Ilim Group will allocate over RUB 70.5 million ($1.3 million).
