Austria’s GAW has received a new contract from Shandong Huatai Paper Industry Shareholding for the delivery of a continuous coating colour preparation and surface starch preparation for the rebuild of PM10.

The scope of the delivery comprises coating colour preparation with GAW Conti-Mixer, the preparation for surface starch and working stations for the rebuild of the paper machine PM10. The machine currently produces newsprint and is expected to produce offset printing paper and LWC after the rebuild. The PM10 is scheduled to start production by the end of 2015.

Shandong Huatai Paper, a subsidiary of the Huatai Group, operates various businesses including paper making, chemicals, forestry and logistics.
