Dutch waste management group Van Kaathoven snaps up paper and plastics recycler Peters Papier

14 April 2015

The Dutch waste management group Van Kaathoven has strengthened its position in the paper and plastics business. The company took over the privately-owned Peters Papier last week. The price tag of the deal was not disclosed.

Peters Papier was founded in 1950 and operates waste management facilities in Sittard and Voerendall, both located in the Netherlands' southernmost province of Limburg. The company specializes in paper and plastic recycling, archive and data destruction as well as waste collection services. The Peters family has reportedly remained closely involved in the business following the takeover, and the new owner does not plan any job cuts.
