Aviretta kicks off production at rebuilt PM 4

Aviretta has finalised the conversion of its PM 4 which used to produce SC paper. The company started to produce saleable schrenz and expects to finalise the test phase for the production of fluting soon, as well.

German producer of recycled corrugated case material Aviretta has finalised the test phase for the production of schrenz at its rebuilt PM 4 and is now producing saleable paper. The paper is produced at grammages ranging from 70 to 100 g/m² and is sold to clients in Germany and the Eurozone.

The test phase for the production of recycled fluting is also nearing completion. Saleable paper is to be supplied soon, the company told EUWID, without specifying the exact date. The capacity of the rebuilt PM 4 amounts to 180,000 tpy, according to Aviretta.
